Evaluation Of Our Work


Equilibrium Edits-evaluation of my work 

Mominul Islam 

Planning targets

- I need to work on my  story boarding more,indicate exactly how the shot should be filmed , make sure all the shots and the frames are accurate and clearly show the characters being filmed in different locations

- I  also need to think more about the setting and make sure it suits the genre we are filming, also,beforehand need to think about if that setting will be available for filming,for our the time we are available

- in order to do this i will be practising with blank story boards 

 Filming Targets

- i need to get more familiar with using the camera properly, how to use the tripod and other camera equipment properly

- to do this i will be booking out the cameras one weekend and playing around with it and get to know what all the buttons do and how the settings work 

Editing Targets

- need to get for familiar with final cut pro,know how to use it properly and understand how it works 

- i will be coming after school and playing around with the software,getting more familiar with it

Planning Targets

-I need to focus more on the angle shots whilst planning, I need to indicate in the storyboard what the shot is being shown in the frame.

-To do this I will go over the shots and become more familiar with the shots and angles, I then can show what shot is being taken in the frame.

Filming Targets

-I need to concentrate on using the camera more often, I need to improve the shots and angles I take, when filming with out the tripod and I'm using my hands I am too shaky.

-To overcome this problem I also will be booking out the camera on various weekends and will be exercising my accuracy on the shots I take.

Editing Targets

-I need to be more comfortable with Final Cut Pro this is because it is my first time using this software.

-To overcome this I will use my free time to just mess about with Final Cut Pro and get familiar with it.

Planning targets

- When story boarding I need to make it clear what kind of shots are being used and make sure that the images match the shots

- I need to add more detail to the storyboard pictures even if they are minor so the audience can easily identify the scene.

- I need to add more information in the storyboards so the audience can read the story more easier

Filming targets

- While using the film I will try to experiment with a variety of shots and keep the camera more stable by comfortably using a tripod, to do this I will experiment with the camera more by using it regularly.

Editing targets

- I will experiment with different types of editing techniques and try to get used to the different tools, I will do this by experimenting with Final Cut Pro and looking around for different techniques.

Planning targets:

-To be more organised in the practical planning, to improve this i will plan before hand for example whilst        making a story board i will plan where the setting will be and what props will be in each frame.

-Also whilst making a story board i can be more clear when i draw, also each frame should be noticeable. i can improve this by taking more time and thinking about what i draw in each frame, also i can use pictures to create my story board which will be more clear and it will also allow me to have more time for the rest of the task.

Filming targets:

- To keep the shots more accurate and to be more steady whilst i hold the camera whilst filming. i can use the camera in my spear time to learn how to use all the functions more clearly. to improve the camera shots i can use the adjust the height and angle of the tripod for the frame to be more accurate.

Editing targets:

-I can improve on my editing by playing around with final cut pro, this will allow me to contribute more towards the editing instead of just giving ideas.

-I can also learn how to use many functions by asking someone who has experience in editing or in the software, this will increase my knowledge and help me with my editing skills.

Hi, my names Shahin and I am an actor and a camera man for 4 Degrees Productions. I was chosen as an actor because I have studied Drama in my GCSE's and also have past experience working with cameras and filming.

Hi, my names Miraz and I am the editor and a camera man for 4 Degrees Productions. I have taken the role as the editor because I have past experience working with editing software such as Sony Vegas Pro and Photoshop. I am a freelance graphic designer which gives me the ability to comfortably edit for 4 Degrees Productions.

Hi, my name is Mominul AKA Moe, I'm 17 years old and I enjoy many things including socialising, going out with friends and doing certain leisure activities, but what I mainly enjoy is a nice cup of tea and an afternoon of Easty. My faviourite subject I honestly have to say is Media.

My names Mizan, i have an interest in media i have been studying it for GCSEs and now for A levels. i plan to work in the media industry in the future. i like to do a variety of activity's to make use of my spare time as well as gaining knowledge. i often like to have fun whilst i work.
